From your first message to your dog's first week home.
Your questionnaire is the first step. Chris will then call you for a 15-minute conversation to determine the next step together.
Step 1
Tell us about your dog
You complete the Client Questionnaire first. It asks about your dog, your goals, and what daily life looks like now.

Step 2
A 15-minute call with Chris
Chris, our head trainer, calls you for a 15-minute conversation about your dog. From that call, the two of you determine the next step.

Step 3
A free Dog Behaviour Assessment, if it would help
Where Chris feels a closer look is needed, he may recommend a free one-hour Dog Behaviour Assessment. He meets you, your dog, and the relevant members of your family, assesses what is taking place, and offers ideas about how he may be able to help.

Step 4
A program recommendation
Based on what he learns from the call, and from an assessment where one took place, Chris suggests a way forward — individual lessons, a private lesson package, or a Board & Train tier.

Step 5
The work together
Lessons run one hour at a time, packages generally run weekly over six weeks, and Board & Train runs three weeks on the property with daily one-on-one training.

Step 6
Going home
Board & Train includes a two-hour Go Home Lesson and two to four Follow-Up Lessons, unless the tier states otherwise. The Severe Behaviour Modification Program includes six follow-up private lessons.

Step 7
Continuing the foundation
K9 Basecamp builds the foundation; the owner continues the work at home. Returning clients whose dogs have completed a program can book Board & Review at $85/day + GST, with a training touch-up included.
